What will we need from your agency?
For most classes, all we need is a training room with a projector and desk seating that can hold around 20-25 students plus equipment. Some courses also require an outdoor area like a courtyard or parking lot to perform practical exercises. Our seminar style courses can be held in a lecture hall or auditorium.
is your agency responsible for registrations?
No. For an open course, we handle all the announcements, marketing and registrations. While there is a minimum of 15 paid students needed for a class to move forward, you are not responsible for meeting that minimum. However, we encourage host agencies to reach out to surrounding agencies to ensure there is enough interest in the course prior to agreeing to host. For more information, please see our course policies.
what does your agency receive in return for hosting?
For courses scheduled January 2024 and after, an agency hosting an open course, will receive one free seat to the class you are hosting. If the course reaches 20 registered attendees, the host agency will receive an additional free seat. Sorry, there are no free seats offered for closed courses.
what do courses cost?
Please see our price list for the current cost per student for each class.
can I host a private course for just my agency or partnering agencies?
Yes. For a closed course we only require a minimum of 15 paid students (this excludes seminar style courses). You can partner with other local agencies to meet minimum, if needed. For more information on hosting a closed course or a series of courses at your agency, please email us.
