This 24 hour course is designed for forensic science & law enforcement professionals with beginner to intermediate experience in performing crime laboratory analysis, crime scene field work, or criminal investigations. Students can expect to learn the inner workings of the US court system, common court procedure and case law. Through practical exercises, students will become comfortable with public speaking and presenting technical information to a jury. After developing expert testimony skills, students will finish the course with a mock court presenting a redacted or simulated case to a prosecutor, defense attorney and jury.
