Course overview

This course builds on the knowledge base and skills students gain after completing a Basic Bloodstain Pattern Analysis course. This course begins by reviewing the pattern recognition and mathematical principles of bloodstain pattern analysis then develops advanced skills in clothing examinations, complex bloodstain patterns, report writing and testimony. This course will enhance examiner competency to ultimately work towards independent analysis and ability to render an expert opinion. This course is an excellent preparatory class for certification in bloodstain pattern analysis.
